Thomas A. Idoux was born on  in Belleville, Illinois, to Phyllis “Jeanne” McGraw and Clete Idoux. He was the second of three children, with siblings Patrick J. Idoux and Jo Ann Idoux.  In his personal life, Tommy shared a deep and enduring bond with his partner, Joe. Their relationship was a testament to love, commitment, and mutual respect, serving as an inspiration to all who witnessed it.

Professionally, Tommy was known for his dedication and work ethic. Beyond his professional endeavors, Tommy was deeply involved in his community. His friend affectionately nicknamed him “Missy,” to which Tommy responded with the playful moniker “Prissy,” reflecting their close and loving friendship.
