A lifelong resident of the area, Jodie’s connection to the Grafton community was deep, and she became a central figure in the lives of many.

Whether it was through her role as a teacher, a friend, or a community volunteer, Jodie was known for her unwavering support and commitment to the well-being of others. She is survived by her husband, Tom Ladd; her two children, Andrew and Rachel; her mother, Shirley Palmer; her brother, Mark Palmer; and a large extended family of relatives and friends who loved her dearly. Jodie’s husband, children, and family were the center of her life, and she dedicated herself to providing them with love, support, and guidance every day.

A Memorial Service to honor Jodie’s life and legacy will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Grafton High School Auditorium. A visitation will take place on Friday, March 21, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grafton Community Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Grafton Education Foundation to continue Jodie’s legacy of supporting students and education. The Ladd family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Grafton community and to all who have reached out with love and support during this incredibly difficult time.
